Huntly Conservation Area
On the 14th of February 2023 Marr Area Committee considered a petition from the residents of Huntly concerning the Conservation Area.
My motion to restrict the boundary of the Conservation Area to the immediate environs of Huntly Square was accepted by Marr Area Committee. It was also agreed that a Full Review of the Huntly Conservation Area be undertaken.
This review has now almost concluded
In order to be sure of the settled will of Huntly residents I have distributed a survey leaflet to residents which contains a map of the proposed new Conservation Area and a question. My question is “do you wish for the Conservation Area to be reduced to the area of Huntly Square or do you prefer the proposed New Conservation Area as indicated on the map”?
Once you have completed the survey you can return it to collection boxes in Rizzas shop in Gordon Street or The Ethical Gift Shop in Duke St. Alternatively you can scan the QR code below.
Extra surveys can be found in Rizzas, The Ethical Gift Shop and many Huntly shops.

Huntly Conservation Area
Would you prefer it if Huntly Conservation Area was reduced to the Square only (dotted line on the map) or the proposed area(solid line on the map). If you wish to support the proposal select "Proposed" If you wish to keep the current conservation area select "Square Only"
